Go-To Comfort

For the past week, I haven't felt like brogging. Probably because I'm still healing from my fall, but also since it's been  crummy weather. I haven't been entirely creative either because work has been sucking all the juice out of my system. Working OT this whole week. But! I did manage to get one outfit post out when I went out for Mac n' Cheese with my favourite people, Ricky and Emi.

My mood totally changes the way I dress. When it's ugly outside, I always feel so blah so I try to dress as warmly and comfortably as possible without looking like a bum. And that's when I grab my gigantic Old Navy sweater. Scarves are another go-to item I love to just throw on before I go out the door.

Also featured in this post are my new brown ORLENA boots from Aldo. Remember how I bought the black ones here? Well it was so hard to resist getting the brown leather ones too during their last big sale when they're under $30! This time I laced them loosely all the way up and they're still just as comfortable and cute.

Cha Cha Cha...Chambray :)

I was in the lunch room at work this week and one of my male coworkers showed up wearing a chambray shirt. I jumped for joy inside! You don't find many engineers that are trendy and chic, so it's a pleasant surprise seeing him in nice outfits everyday! I definitely need him to guest star in some of my photos sometime so you guys can see! So, because of his shirt, I wore my chambray genie pants out to play today :)

Too Sexy?

I went over to my boyfriend's house this weekend dressed like this. Not too different from my normal attire. But I knew something was odd when his parents started whispering and motioned for my bf to go into the kitchen, where they quietly mumbled some stuff in Chinese. Strange, I thought, because usually they talk quite loud. But I didn't think much of it and went back to watching Iron Man...

DANGER

Watch me strip.

Just kidding- I just love deconstructing my outfit in my photos :)

This outfit features my Rebel Yell 'DANGER' tee. This shirt I got from DJ Premium during their CYBER MONDAY sale and I love it to bits. It's the softest material ever... feels like wearing pajamas. I totally want to wear it to sleep.

Chambray Jumper Pants & the Multifaceted Scarf

After finding these chambray jumper pants at the AA sample sale, I couldn't wait to wear them out! They are so wonderfully comfy, it's like wearing pajamas all day! I paired it with this incredibly versatile thick knit scarf from Wholesale7, which is unique in that the ends are tube shaped. I'll show you what I mean with pictures of all the different styles I wore it

A Busy Blogger Weekend :)

How was everyone's long weekend? Mine was AWESOME. It was jam-packed full of sample sales, new purchases, pampering and eating. Usually I don't make good use of time off because I get utterly lazy and sleep in until the late afternoon, but this weekend, I was determined to wake up early and check some to-dos off my list.

With Emi, my partner in crime. TWINS!

J Brand sample sale// I got to go to this through a private invitation courtesy of Emi, where we got to pick out as many pairs of J Brands as we wanted before the general public got a taste of heaven. I was literally swimming in J Brands in the change room because I hogged so many pairs. Eventually I narrowed it down to 2 (and bought a 3rd the next day), one of which is featured in the outfit today :) Because we knew the organizer, our items were given to us for an even bigger discount. <3 connections!
