I've always had a thing for wacky shoes ever since I bought my first pair of United Nudes way back in 2008. Aren't they cool?

I've been on a shopping kick *twiddles thumbs* and have been literally stalking some sites for new arrivals and bookmarking everything I see. Oh which I bestow on you some of the shoes I like that have very cool designs. I'm not talking about Lady Gaga's monster Alexander McQueen high heels (cue: scream)... those hurt my feet just thinking about them!! I do admire her spirit ;)

DIY: How to make your own Dressform!

Edit: Just updated with pictures of a revised dress form :) My mum is a genius!

With Halloween coming up and me making my own costume, a dress form can come in handy when doing needlework. But dressforms can be uber expensive, and finding one that fits your measurements is a tough feat. That's why I decided to make my own, with the help of my 'twin' Emi and my bf. Nyarigatou! <3

Falling In Love With Chiffon Tops

I don't know what it is, but for some reason, I'm falling head over heels with girly chiffon tops.
They make me feel... so... whimsical and fun!

I had a GREAT shopping day this Saturday and bought lots of great new falls items.
Of which is this new leopard-esque print chiffon crop top that looks better when worn off-shoulder.
Makes it more fun that way~

So many people are moving away from Vancouver... there just aren't many jobs over here for new grads. Sigh.

H&M x Versace Collaboration Picks

The entire collection for H&M x Versace collection was just revealed yesterday! Look at all these goodies!!! This highly anticipated collection is expected to go on sale on November 17 so get your game-face on!

You can see the entire collection on Vogue UK, but basically it is glam glam glam :) Lots and lots of pretty colours and prints.

The Versatility of the Bow Blouse & the Burgandy Cardigan

I love finding pieces that can fit in a variety of different environments and ensembles.

Take my newest acquire, the H&M bow blouse. I wore it last week to a friend's birthday dinner here, and I also wore it today for a work interview. It fits so nicely into my high-waisted skirt. The material was so nice that it didn't wrinkle when I took it out of my skirt. :)

This cardigan is also such a colour that can be worn for both casual (here) and work environments. This burgandy colour gives just enough pop to be memorable during an interview or networking event and looks good on most skin tones~

Boho Batwing Knit Cardigan and a Sweater Dress

The weather was awesome today: Perfectly sunny, with crisp October air~

I wore my Boho Batwing Knit Cardigan today which I got this week off Trinity on facebook, an Asian fashion store run by a Vancouverite. I follow a lot of these facebook stores, but I like Trinity best because she has decent prices, very cute stock, quick updates and ongoing promotions. Though facebook may be a rare place to find apparel, it's definitely a good alternative to Asian fashion online stores that charge expensive shipping.

Cargo Safari Jacket and Urban Outfitters Finds

I went downtown yesterday on some business and decided to do some browsing as well. I wandered into UO not expecting to find anything, but when I got upstairs they had a decent sized sale section. I found 3 things (all in small and zero, yay!) and went to the fitting room to try them on.

The fitting room was huge! Haha :) It was pretty much 3/4 the size of my room...

Wings, Wings, Wings on Everything! Adidas x Jeremy Scott on 2NE1~

If you know me, you probably know I'm a huge fan of the kpop group 2NE1. They always have the funkiest costumes on and off stage. Though the colours they wear are too loud for my style, their Adidas x Jeremy Scott outfits are extremely wearable. 2NE1 and Jeremy Scott are very close, so many of their outfits are styled by Adidas x Jeremy Scott's collaborations.

They are one of the larger ones that have as many as 10 sales at once, so they feature a lot of variety in clothing, shoes, home decor and even vacation getaways~

J Brand makes one of the best quality jeans out there. I tend to go towards the mid-rise or higher-rise ones because I have a long torso, but J Brand is great with making the same style in different rises.
